Girbau Group, one of the top-5 international groups manufacturing industrial laundry equipment, acquired assets and plants from Shanghai Shen Guang after signing and gaining majority control of a joint venture with the same company. After the acquisitions, Girbau, via the joint venture, will become one of China’s largest industrial laundry equipment manufacturers. The Group's China operations will focus on developing localized products, and eventually expand to supplying emerging markets throughout Asia. InterChina's Eduardo Morcillo led the deal.
